ABOUT ME RESUMEAbout Me
I have always loved computers. Naturally when the time came to begin my college career, my intention was to become a computer science major. However the dotcom burst of 2000 still fresh in the minds of many led me to pursue something else I was interested in: biology.
I graduated UC Davis with a B.S. in Microbiology, and a minor in Evolution, Ecology, & Biodiversity. Then I was accepted at UC Irvine for grad school, where I focused on Biochemistry, and obtained my Master’s degree for my 3 years of scientific contributions. However about a year before I graduated, my interest in computer science began surfacing. I found myself continually tinkering with software that controlled lab experiments I was working on. Then, writing scripts to optimize lab equipment in.
After doing some heavy soul-searching, I made the decision to complete my masters and concurrently begin taking courses to earn a second bachelor's degree in software engineering. This path I have taken is certainly unconventional. However, the experiences along the way have shaped me to become a highly goal-driven individual that has an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
When I am not working on code, I enjoy spending my time playing games on Steam and catching up on the latest tech developments.
